Conferences can be overwhelming! I know because for years I went to many in the property and hotel industry. Delegates are typically trying to network, attend seminars, work and have a drink all at the same time! There is a lot of time spent sitting and inside too.
The science tells us that having a mind break where either you listen to a session on mindfulness or a short meditation is well known to aid cognitive function. The benefits of some gentle stretching and movement through yoga are also very clear.
